Tim´s report - first trip to Power-Heat-Set Germany

Having been at Power-Heat-Set for more than a year, I was finally able to make a trip to the main office in Toging, Germany. This was my first trip to Europe and I was excited to meet my German colleagues face to face for the first time.

In March 2012, we informed you about the operation and maintenance of our overfeed system. This month we’d like to continue our newsletter series by describing the operation of the coiler system.

For heat-setting straight-set yarn, one coiler yarn delivery per working position (channel) is required. Here the straight yarn is deposited through the coiler system onto the transport belts. The yarn speed is infinitely variable between 300 m/min and 700 m/min, depending on the yarn specification.

A certified vocational trainer for Power-Heat-Set trainees

The Bavarian Academy of Training is the audit capability and certification body for the further education of vocational instructors. A standardized process evaluates and documents the competencies and training activities of qualified trainers.
