About us
For more than thirty years, the carpet industry and other synthetic yarn producers have enjoyed the benefits of GVA Heatsetting (previously known as the Suessen progress). Many individuals have contributed to the success of this process.
In 1975 Mr. Vetter and Mr. Fischer (both working for Spindelfabrik Suessen) agreed with Mr. Turck (Creative Director) and Mr. Ludwig Resch Sr. to develop a Heatsetting process. At this time only a single channel GVA Heatsetting machine was used. This single process machine created a great interest at the exhibition in Milan in 1975. Afterwards interested customers requested the GVA machine in a six channel configuration. At the beginning, the conversion of a single channel system to a six channel system caused a few problems. Over the years the process has been perfected.
In 1978, 25 machines were sold to the USA – the breakthrough of the new technology was achieved. After 10 years, 400 machines had been sold.
The Suessen/Hoerauf Company was restructured in 2002 and withdrew from the heatsetting sector. The complete responsibility for the heatsetting program was transferred to Resch Maschinenbau GmbH. In the same year, Resch Maschinenbau GmbH concentrated all textile activities in the newly founded Company Power-Heat-Set.
In 2004 our new premises with testline and laboratory was completed (see picture above).
In 2007 Power-Heat-set had a very exciting year:
First our company, Power-Heat-Set celebrates jubilee (5 years) and at the same time Resch-Maschinenbau (50 years) and ViscoTec (10 years) celebrates their jubilees, too.
Afterwards our development department has been distinguished with the award “Best Innovation 2006” for the Twinnrollbox.
At ITMA in Munich 2007 our new machine – compact Heatsetting machine – was introduced very successfully into the market. Two months later our new machine “compact heatset” won the “Innovation award” at Floortek in Dalton, Georgia – the capital city of carpets.
Nearly at the same time also Power-Heat-Set of America has been founded in the USA, Dalton (Georgia).
Today Power-Heat-Set is a company, which acts all over the world, specialized on heatsetting equipment for carpet yarn. Up to now we sold more than 800 GVAs worldwide. Innovation and flexibility are our strengths. The main occupation of us is sales, service, consulting and supply with spare parts.
Power-Heat-Set management is committed to revive and continue the spirit and purposefulness of the pioneer days with continuous innovation and further developments and to assure this process secure future for the next 30 years.
