We have often noticed that customers are using the HUB to connect to the internet. This is wrong as it can lead to a great deal of trouble. The HUB (see picture below) has 8 Networks which must only be used to connect the IPC with the different machine units such as the False Twist, Accu’s, Winder and PLC. It must not be used for anything else!
If you need our support or if your machine needs an update we are using Teamviewer to connect us to your device. Each machine is dedicated to one Teamviewer IP. Pre-requirement – Your internet is connected with the IPC and not with the HUB! If your Internet is connected to the HUB, the Teamviewer cannot recognize the correct IP address as the IPC (the center of the machine) is not involved. This can cause a lot of trouble on both your site and on ours too, especially if you have more than one machine.
Therefore please only use the IPC to connect your machines to the internet.
